Aurangabad, June 16:
As the rate of corona infection in rural areas of the district is not decreasing, the health administration will have to work hard to move from level three to level one.
District collector Sunil Chavan said in a meeting on Wednesday that it was necessary to increase the number of covid tests in rural areas. In order to reduce the level of infection in rural areas and bring it to the same level as the cities, all the agencies need to focus on increasing covid tests. Increase the rate of testing of all citizens in the villages including traders, shopkeepers, vendors and religious priests. In order to help reduce the infection rate in rural areas, everything except schools, colleges, religious and tourist places have been opened under the Break the Chain campaign. Allowing the market to start is going to increase the crowds. Merchants, shopkeepers, hoteliers who test themselves should be honored. Vaccinated people should be exempted from testing. However, it is mandatory to test a vaccinated person if any symptoms appear. Like the city, rural areas can be moved from level three to level one. But all establishments should work for this purpose.
