Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The crew of Indigo Airlines, along with the airport authorities, came to the aid of a prominent city businessman on a Mumbai-bound morning flight departing from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Wednesday.

The incident occurred a mere three minutes before takeoff when the businessman's wife raised concerns about her husband feeling unwell. Responding swiftly, the flight was immediately halted, and the airline's emergency response team sprang into action. Within minutes, medical professionals on board provided prompt assistance to the passenger, delivering not only medical care but also emotional support to the family members.

Airport authorities promptly dispatched an ambulance to convey the patient to a nearby hospital. Indigo staff stood by the family throughout the process, offering support. Thanks to the timely intervention, the passenger's condition improved within minutes. Remarkably, the entire sequence of events, from the initial notification to the conclusion of treatment, unfolded in just 10 to 15 minutes.
