'The Last Battle' play wins 1st prize in State 1-act contest

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: ‘The Last Battle', a play staged by the team of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, secured first place in the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Trophy in the State Level One-act Competition organised by Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC).

Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari praised the student artists for winning the first prize for the play 'The Last Battle.' Pro VC Dr Walmik Sarwade, Director of Student Development Board Dr Kailash Ambhure and Coordinator Gautam Sonawane were present.

In this competition, the one-act play received a cash prize of Rs. 31,000 and a certificate of merit. In addition, Sandeep Patil won first prize for writing, direction and Balu Batule for lighting design, Pandurang Shingare for music arrangement, and Kavita Divekar for colour and costume design.

VC Dr Vijay Fulari and others congratulated the team members-Sadhana Vitore, Harshada Mangalgi, Raj Sable, Kanishk Bansode, Sumit Solanke, Tanmay Jagtap, Vijay Mhaske, Akash Gunjal, Rohit Punekar, Shubham Roy and Anand Nikalje.
