Man dies in accident

Aurangabad, June 6:

A man going to his in-laws to Kannad with wife on motorcycle died after a dash by a speeding car at Palaswadi near Kannad on June 4 at around 7.30 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Syed Zahoor Haider Abedi (33, Padegaon), His wife also sustained severe injuries and is being treated.

According to the details, Syed Zahoor was going towards Kannad along with his wife Masooma Zahoor Haider on a bullet motorcycle (MH 12 8426) on Friday evening. A speeding car (MH 20 DJ 3319) dashed their motorcycle and both were severely injured. There were around four to five persons in the car and all of them fled away from the scene after the accident. The nearby residents rushed the injured to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in private vehicle. The doctors declared Zahoor dead after examination. A case has been registered at the Khuldabad police station.
