As a precautionary measure, district collector Sunil Chavan has ordered a ban on the manufacture, sale, and use of nylon manja till January 15 in the district''s rural areas. The orders have been issued according to the criminal procedure code as there is not enough time to implement the order and save the lives of wild animals.
