Maulana Azad advocated Hindu-Muslim Unity: Dr Hameed Khan

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “Maulana Azad was a staunch believer in Hindu–Muslim Unity. As a leading figure in the Indian National Congress, he vehemently opposed the partition of India,” said Dr Intekhab Hameed Khan, former head of the Department of English, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu).

He was speaking at an Interdisciplinary and Multilingual workshop on Research Methodology jointly organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Lokseva College and the IQAC section of Vidyadhan College on Monday as a tribute to the country’s first Education Minister, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

Keynote speaker Dr Mustajeeb Khan (Head, Department of English, BAMU) said that in the world of AI, students shouldn’t get afraid that they would lose job opportunities as AI doesn’t have a brain like humans. College Principal Dr Liyakat Shaikh presided over the function. Dr Sateprem Ghumre (Principal/ Secretary of Vidyadhan College) also spoke. Workshop convener Dr Shaikh Parvez Aslam gave the introductory remarks. Archana Karpe proposed the vote of thanks.
