Aurangabad, June 17:

The first meeting of the three-member inquiry committee chaired by former vice chancellor of the university, Dr Sarjerao Nimse was held on Thursday. In the meeting, the committee members examined the selection process of the officers and the documents presented by the complainants.

The meeting was held for the fact finding of the complaints against Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada university registrar Dr Jayashree Suryavanshi, Yogesh Patil director, board of examination and evaluation and dean Dr Walmik Sarvade. In this meeting, Dr Nimse, members Dr Vilas Khandare and Dr Narendra Kale examined the necessary documents submitted to the administration. The second meeting of this committee will be held in the next 10-15 days and the plaintiffs and defendants will be heard in that meeting. Evidence of the certificates submitted by these officers during the interview will be examined and a final decision on the matter will be taken on the same day, said committee member Dr Khandare
