Natya Samvad training camp on World Theatre Day

Natya Samvad, an interaction and training camp, was organised in the Department of Performing Arts at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on Saturday as part of World Theatre Day.
A show of the one-act play 'Ghar Doghanche' was also staged.
Renowned film and theatre actor and writer Omkar Govardhan guided the students, emphasising that "training is essential for theatre," and also praised the department's illustrious past and present achievements.
The programme began with a Natraj Pujan. Department Head Dr Vaishali Bodele delivered the introductory address, shedding light on the significance of World Theatre Day and the department's contributions at the global level. This was followed by a performance of the one-act play "Ghar Doghancha," written by Ashish Dev and directed by Siddeshwar Thorat.
Dr Smita Sable, Dr Gajanan Dandge, staff members of the department, current and former students, and a large audience were present.
