Aurangabad, Jan 23: Matrubhumi Foundation along with CMIA and Aurangabad First celebrated the Parakram Diwas, the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose here today.

The programme started with the blowing of conch shell especially performed in traditional Bengali dress by the Ladies Group of Bengali Association of Aurangabad.

Associations like Roller Skating Federation of India, Aurangabad District Cycling Association, Aurangabad Fencing Association, Dynamic Martial Arts Training Center demonstrated various art forms.The Savitribai Phule Mahila Samaj Mandal performed street play on Netaji.Anagha Kale presented patriotic songs.

Jaswant Singh, Aurangabad First president Pritesh Chatterji, CMIA president Kamlesh Dhoot, Sandeep Rajhans, Sandeep Kale, MLC Ambadas Danve, Susmita Jana Roy, Nita Rajput,Sharmista Dutta, Soma Roy, Kavita Haldar, Moha Chakravarty, Anima Shidda, Sheela Sarkar, Vandana De, Anupama Mukarjee, Subra Sha, Shilpa Chudiwal and Subhangi Jana were among those present.

Partho Roy anchored the programme.
