Aurangabad, Jan 18:

In all, 11,340 employees of the revenue department have been employed for the grampanchayat election duties in the district. However, a shocking information has revealed that no Corona test of a single employee was conducted during the election duty and even after the elections. In the earlier election process, the district administration has taken all the precautions to avert the spread of Corona but during the grampanchayat elections, the masks, gloves, sanitizers, social distancing and other guidelines were completely ignored. A employee on the condition of anonymity told that no employee had undergone Corona tests. The counting was completed on Monday and everyone is stress-free but still worried as no tests were done, he said.

District health officer, Dr Sudhakar Shelke said, the health department had not received any written orders about it. The senior officers had not informed the district collector while the health department was completely prepared for it.
