No opposition leader in next assembly!

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:
The right to appoint an opposition leader in the legislative assembly lies with the speaker of the assembly. To appoint an opposition leader, numerical strength is required. None of the opposition parties in the state have enough legislators. As a result, no party can have an opposition leader, which is the reality. Due to this, the upcoming assembly session will be held without an opposition leader, said the guardian minister, Sanjay Shirsat, while speaking to media persons on Saturday.
In the context of the upcoming state legislative assembly session, the Uddhav Sena has claimed the position of opposition leader. Currently, the names of Aaditya Thackeray and Bhaskar Jadhav are being discussed. When Shirsat was asked about this, he said that Aaditya Thackeray could not become the opposition leader because his party did not have the required numerical strength for the position.
When asked about Sanjay Raut congratulating the Chief Minister for ordering the suspension of the tender approved by Shinde Sena leader and then health minister Tanaji Sawant, Shirsat responded by saying that while Tanaji Sawant is from our party, the authority to approve work lies with the Commissioner. If something wrong has occurred, an inquiry should be conducted. However, some people are quick to interpret this as a sign of discord within the alliance.
When attention was drawn to Sanjay Raut's criticism of agriculture minister Manikrao Kokate, claiming that he was ‘saving the government,’ Shirsat pointed out that although Kokate was sentenced by the court, he has appealed the sentence in a higher court. Shirsat also pointed Sanjay Raut had also been in jail for three months and later got bail, but it doesn’t mean we saved him. Raut should keep in mind that he is on bail, advised Shirsat.
