Notorious gangster sent to Kolhapur Jail Under MPDA

Notorious gangster Kunal Jadhav (26, Ayodhyanagar), who has been involved in serious crimes such as attempted murder, kidnapping for extortion, robbery, and intimidation, has been sent directly to Kolhapur Central Jail for one year under the MPDA Act.

Despite repeated preventive actions, his behavior did not improve, prompting Crime Branch Inspector Gajanan Kalyankar and Cidco police inspector Atul Yerme to submit a proposal to Police commissioner Pravin Pawar. Upon approval of the proposal, he was placed in Kolhapur Central Jail on January 1. The action was carried out under the supervision of police sub-inspector Anil Nanekar, Haridas Maindad, Subhash Shewale, along with officers.
