Aurangabad, March 25:

A motorcyclist died while the pillion rider was severely injured after a dash of a truck to their motorcycle near FDC Company in Waluj MIDC area on Thursday morning.

Shubham Madhavsingh Gomladu (21, Pimpri, Khuldabad) died while Kiran Babasaheb Solas (19, Bajajnagar) was injured in the accident.

Shubham and Kiran were going on motorcycle (MH 20 BH 6142) from Johnson and Johnson company towards Bajajnagar.

An Eisher Truck (MH 20 BT 4377) in an attempt to overtake dashed the back from behind near FDC Company in Waluj MIDC area. Shubam was crushed under the tyre of the truck was Kiran was thrown away from the bike. The nearby residents gathered on the spot and informed the Waluj MIDC police. The police took both the injured to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The doctors declared shubham dead after examination at around 10.45 am while injured Kiran is being treated. The Waluj MIDC police have registered a case while constable Kishor Ghusale is further investigating.

Meanwhile, Shubham and Kiran joined Johnson and Johnson company on contractual basis on Wednesday. Today was the first day of their work in the company. When they went to the company in the morning they realized that they had forgotten some documents and were returning to Bajajnagar to take the documents when they met the accident.
