Aurangabad, June 16:

Six houses were burgled at Raje Sambhajinagar in the Harsul area, last fortnight. The thieves have not been arrested yet, and one more house burglary case came to the fore in this area. Thieves broke into a closed house in this locality and made off with gold and silver jewellery amounting to Rs 23,000 between June 12 and 14. Police said Sharad Sukhdeo Nagve (36) lives at Raje Sambhajinagar with his family. On June 12, he went to his native place at Khamkheda (Bhokardan, Jalna) with his family, and the house was locked since then. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the thieves broke into the house and made off with gold and silver jewellery amounting to Rs 23,000. Nagve returned on June 14 and noticed the theft. A case has been registered at the Harsul police station while PSI Maruti Khillare is further investigating the case.
