OPD registration at cantonment hospital becomes dearer
Aurangabad, Oct 29:
Patients coming to the cantonment civil hospital will now have to pay Rs 20 instead of Rs 10 for treatment. Similarly, the decision to set up a separate ward to treat male patients was taken at the meeting of the Aurangabad Cantonment Board (ACB) meeting on Thursday.
In the meeting, the ACB members decided to increase the charges for outpatient case papers (registration) by 100 per cent, from the current Rs 10 to Rs 20 to provide adequate facilities in the government hospital for the citizens of the cantonment area. In the past, only women were admitted here for treatment. Now a separate ward will be set up for male patients. It was also decided to give the cantonment conference hall to Garware Company.
The company will set up a Kindergarten for the children of the area, as well as students of the area will be given training for competitive examinations at this place. The members also decided to install CCTV cameras and bus stands in the cantonment area through Smart City Project and lease vacant space to traders. ACB president Brigadier S S Anand presided over the meeting. Board vice president Padmashri Jaiswal, chief executive officer Vikrant More, corporators Kishor Kachhwaha, Sanjay Garol, Prashant Targe, Sheikh Hanif, Pratibha Kakas, office superintendent Vaishali Kenekar and others were present.
