Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: “Pain, sorrow, joy and separation inspire every human being to innovate. What we speak and write becomes sharper if it is based on experience. For this, we should be able to read, see and hear directly, we should become so united with reading,” said Dr Anand Nadkarni, noted psychiatrist.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the three-day lecture series being organised by the Marathi Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on Monday, under the Mahatma Gandhi lecture series.

Poet Ganesh Ghule conducted a candid interview with Dr Anand Nadkarni. Head of the Department Dr Dasu Vaidya and director of the Student Development Board Dr Kailash Ambhure were also seated on the stage. He said that the daily diary write is a mirror of life, so, the youth should keep writing it.

"Protect your own interests and know the interests of others’ is the basic mantra for a successful and happy life," he said. Dr Nadkarni also interacted with an exemple.
