Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
The state has initiated the Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) to secure central funds for rehabilitation and compensation. An NDMA expert team arrived in the city on Tuesday night and reviewed district damage data with officials on Wednesday before leaving for an on-site inspection in Beed.
The team includes M. Vinoth, Vandana Srivastava, Suhas Mohanty, Rohit Kumar and Vaishali Mhaske. In a meeting with resident deputy collector Janardan Vidhate and district disaster management officer Maruti Maske, the team examined details of flood damage, relief received and distributed, and funds required.
After their departure, district collector Dilip Swami directed departments to compile the required data and appoint nodal officers. The information will be presented in an online meeting on February 13.
