Aurangabad, May 10:

The Commissioner of police has imposed prohibitory orders to restrict the Corona pandemic, still many people are wandering on the roads and streets without any reason. The police are taking stern action against them under section 188 for breaching the orders, section 269 and 270 for breaching the disaster Management Act, posing danger to other’s life by spreading pandemic and others. These cases cannot be withdrawn easily. Last years in all, 2149 cases were registered in the city during lockdown. The then home minister Anil Deshmukh announce to withdrew these cases but later the police administration did not received any orders in this regard for withdrawing the cases. Moreover, the cases registered under minor section like 188 can be easily withdrawn by the government. Hence, the police administration is also adding sections like 269 and 270 with it. These sections cannot be easily withdrawn, the sources said.

If such cases are registered against anyone, he can have problems while getting passport or visa, the sources added.
