Aurangabad, Nov 4: A daring theft took place in broad daylight in Udgir town of Latur district on Wednesday. Few unidentified persons broke the rear glass of a car parked in front of land registry office, Bidar Naka, Udgir and took away Rs 10.58 lakh in cash.

As per information received on Wednesday afternoon, Deelip Mudale, a resident of Sangam (Savali) of Karnataka, sold his three plots and came to the land registry office Udgir. He parked his car KA-25-Z-6686 in front of the office and went in. After some time he came back and found that the rear glass of his car was broken and the money which he had kept in the car was stolen by some unidentified persons. He immediately informed the city police station. The CCTV camera footage shows two unidentified motorcyclists coming towards the car. A case has been registered with the Udgir city police station.
