Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A 34-year-old security guard was found dead in his home in Lakshmi Colony on Thursday morning, with initial reports suggesting suicide by hanging. A case has been registered by Cantonment police station.

The deceased, identified as Rohit Bhimrao Salve, reportedly followed his morning routine having tea with his family and collecting water from the local supply before going upstairs, where he was later found hanging. Family members rushed him to GMCH, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Salve is survived by his wife, two children, mother, and brother. The motive behind his suspected suicide remains unclear. Authorities have not found any note and police constable Sangita Darade is leading further inquiries.
