Seminar held at S B College

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A seminar on contemporary social issues, organised by the Department of Sociology of Saraswati Bhuvan Arts and Commerce College, was conducted with great enthusiasm.

In the competition, student Vaishnavi Rai secured the first position, while Sheetal Baid stood second. The third position was jointly shared by Sneha Jadhav and Nisha Yadav.

The winners were felicitated with prizes by Principal Dr Vivek Mirgane, Vice-Principal and Head of the Department of Sociology Dr Sandip Chaudhari and another Vice-Principal Dr Anand Chaudhari.

Dr Smita Shinde and Dr Firoz Beg served as judges for the seminar. Students Vaishnavi Rai and Tejaswini Kathar conducted the proceedings of the programme while Suman Baghel and Shweta Jadhav proposed a vote of thanks. Dr Neeta Kalskar, Vilas Bandewar, Durgesh Thakur and Vaijanath Varkhade worked for the event.
