Send power system complaints now on WhatsApp

To ensure electrical safety for citizens in the district and to bring transparency to the power distribution system, MSEDCL has started an innovative initiative under the concept of Chief Engineer Pawankumar Kachhot. Two separate WhatsApp numbers have been announced so that citizens can immediately inform MSEDCL about dangerous electrical installations and power theft. The WhatsApp number 9011075200 has been provided to report power theft. Another WhatsApp number, 9011075600, has been announced to lodge complaints about dangerous electrical setups such as titled electric poles, hanging wires, as well as incorrect electricity bills. MSEDCL has appealed that only photos, videos, or messages should be sent to the concerned WhatsApp numbers, and only between 10 a.m and 5 p.m, Monday to Saturday.
