Shiv Smarak Yatra arrives in city

Chhatrapait Sambhajinagar: The grand Shiv Smarak Yatra taken out by Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje Shaurya Pratishthan from Mahakal ( Ambad, Jalna) as part of the birth anniversary celebration of Chhatrapati Shivaji, arrived in the city on Saturday.

The Yatra was welcomed at various places. After paying homage to the statue of Shivaji Maharaj at Kranti Chowk, the Shiv Smarak Yatra left for Jalna.

Keeping in mind the concept of ‘Shiv Smarak in every village and Shiv Vichar in every house!’ Balraje Aware, the founder president of Pratishthan and his colleagues have taken out a Shiv Smarak Yatra.

The Yatra started from Mahakal (Jalna) on Saturday. In this yatra, 51 equestrian statues (statues) of Chhatrapati Shivaji were carried in 51 vehicles, and a total of 101 statues of Rajmata Jijau, Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje, Shivaji's brave soldiers and great men of various religions were placed in other vehicles. The yatra entered the city via Beed Bypass in the afternoon.

When the Shiv Smarak Yatra arrived at Kranti Chowk, the followers of Shivaji Maharaj present there shouted slogans for Shivaji. This Shiv Smarak Yatra left for Jalna via Cidco, Mukundwadi, Chikalthana, Jijau Chowk (Cambridge) via Jalna Road.

This yatra was welcomed with great enthusiasm by shouting slogans for Shivaji at various chowks. Women worshipped the Shiv Smarak at various places. The yatra will go to various cities and major villages in Marathwada for the next four days.

This yatra will conclude at Majalgaon in Beed district. The organisers informed that the Shiv Janmotsav will be celebrated there with great pomp.
