Stepfather sexually assaults 8-year-old in Waluj

A shocking incident came to light Friday within MIDC Waluj Police Station limits, where a stepfather sexually assaulted his 8-year-old stepdaughter in Tisgaon.

The accused took advantage of the mother's absence for work and committed the obscene act. The brave girl bit his hand, escaped his grip, and fled to a neighboring woman. Other local women gathered, consoled her, and heard her tearful account. Since the mother had not returned, an alert neighbor filed a police complaint late that night. MIDC Waluj Police promptly registered a case, with Sub-Inspector Sushma Pawar leading the investigation. The incident has sparked intense public outrage, with strong demands for strict punishment of the accused.
