Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:Newly elected Zilla Parishad (ZP) president Avinash Galande and Vice President Jitendra Jaiswal on Wednesday evening inspected the new main administrative building and reviewed the progress of ongoing work.

During the inspection, Galande gave clear instructions to the Public Works Department officials to immediately stop the painting and furniture work underway in the old building, directing that this expenditure be redirected towards the new administrative building.

President Galande stated that approximately Rs 10.35 crore is required to complete the remaining work on the new administrative building and that he would follow up with the government through senior local leaders to secure the funds.

He clarified that after the election of the Standing Committee chairperson, the newly elected office-bearers and officials would jointly approach the government with the funding demand. Those who were present included members Sudhakar Shinde, Kunal Dandge, Nikhil Chavhan, Gopal Wagh, Sachin Garad and Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department, Anil Pable.

President Galande stated that after the chairperson's election, they would meet the Chief Minister and the Rural Development Minister, along with the newly elected chairperson, to demand the necessary funds for the new administrative building.

He expressed the intention to inaugurate the new ZP building on September 17, the Marathwada Liberation Day, in the presence of the Chief Minister, both Deputy Chief Ministers, the Rural Development Minister, the city's Mayor, and local MLAs.
