Success of MGM University at the National Youth Festival
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:
The 39th National Youth Festival, organised by the Association of Indian Universities, was held at Sathyabhama Institute of Science and Technology University in Chennai. MGM University team delivered a historic performance by securing top positions in two competitions.
A total of 147 university teams from across the country took part in the festival. The MGM University team participated in four art categories, including percussion, western instrumental music, sculpture, and quiz competitions.
In the festival, Prasad Tarwade from MGM University secured the second prize in the percussion category, while student Nupur Nagar won second prize in western instrumental music.
The team was accompanied by Dr R. R. Deshmukh from the Department of Student Welfare, Dr Raju Sonawane serving as team leader, Dr Rihana Syed and Satish Jogdand.
On this national-level achievement, the winning team and participating students were congratulated for their future endeavours by chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, vice-chancellor prof. Dr Vilas Sapkal, registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar and others.
