March has become unusually harsh this year due to intense heat. Despite stable temperatures, the scorching sun continues to trouble residents, with conditions resembling April-like heat.

According to the weather department, unseasonal rain is likely between March 17 and 20. On Monday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.2°C, while the minimum temperature stood at 19°C. Last week, on March 12, the maximum temperature had reached 39.2°C, the highest recorded so far this summer. Due to the rising heat, roads remain largely deserted between 12 noon and 5 pm, and the high temperatures are affecting daily life in the city.
