Aurangabad, Feb 4:

The Waluj police police have arrested a thief on Wednesday who stole a motorcycle of a policeman of the Waluj police station. The arrested suspect has been identified as Sunil Gaikwad (Wahegaon, Badnapur, presently staying at Waluj).

Waluj police station constable Ravindra Bahule’s motorcycle (MH 23 S 9595) was taken by his friend Nazir Shaikh on February 2 for going to a hospital. In the afternoon, Nasir parked his motorcycle in front of a shop on Kamlapur Road and went to a hotel for lunch. When he returned, the motorcycle was missing. Nazir lodged a complaint at the Waluj police station in this regard. PI, Sandeep Grume started investigation and PSI Laxman Umbre, head constable Vitthal Khandagale, Rajaram Dakhure, Pradeep Borude arrested suspect Sunil Gaikwad. During interrogation, he confessed that he has stolen Bahure’s motorcycle and one other from Phaltan in Satara district. The police have seized two motorcycles from Sunil.
