Aurangabad, March 13:

Thieves entered into an unlocked house and stole a box containing jewellery worth Rs 4.5 lakh at Mukundwadi area. The incident came to the fore on March 9 while a case has been registered at the Mukundwadi police station.

Complainant, Maruti Bhausaheb Dande’s (53) daughter inlaw, a plastic jewellery box containing gold chain, necklace and other ornaments on the sewing machine. While, she was busy in her household work, some unidentified thief entered the house and took away the jewellery box.

After realizing that the box is missing from the house, Dande lodged a complaint at the Mukundwadi police station. PSI Vikas Dhokare is further investigating the case.
