Aurangabad, Oct 24:

The thieves are using new ideas for thefts now. They wearing personal protection equipment (PPE) kits broke into a builder''s office and took away the safe having Rs 6.25 lakh cash. The incident occurred at Tapadiya – Muley complex on Jalna Road third floor and came to light on Saturday morning. Santosh Dhanuka (Bansilalnagar) has his office in the complex, and four employees work in the office. The employees on Friday night lodged the office in the evening as usual and went home. Later, watchman Kailas Shikre put off the lights around 9.30 pm and went on the ground floor.

At around 9.45, two thieves entered the complex wearing PPE kits and went directly on the third floor. They opened the shutter with forged keys and entered the office. Santosh Dhanuka had two safes in his drawer one containing Rs 6.25 lakh and other minor amount. The thieves took the safe containing Rs 6.25 lakh and around five to six lamp stands. They left the complex at about 10.15 pm with the articles from the same way they had entered. They fled away from the scene in the car.

The next day, employee Yuvraj Padar came to the office at around 10 am and found the office was open. He immediately informed to Dhanuka and then the crime branch and the Jinsi police rushed to the spot.
