Miscreants set ablaze three vehicles, including that of a doctor, in Rozebagh in the early hours of April 1. The incident came to light around 4 a.m., and a case has been registered at City Chowk police station.

Abubakar Ahmed Mohiuddin Siddiqui (39, Rozebagh (N-12)), runs a children’s clinic in the same locality. He had parked his car, purchased in 2016, outside his residence. His brother’s car, bought in 2024, was also parked there. A school van belonging to the president of an educational institution was stationed in the same area. At around 4 am, a neighbour alerted Siddiqui that unidentified persons had set the vehicles on fire. By the time he reached the spot, the blaze had intensified, causing extensive damage. Similar incidents of vehicles being torched have been reported in the area earlier. Police sub-inspector Bhagwat Muthal is investigating the case.
