Trains bound for Mumbai running jam-packed

Aurangabad, June 13:

After the unlock, the number of passengers travelling to Mumbai has increased. Hence there is a waiting for Sachkhand and Devagiri Express.

Trains including Devagiri Express, Sachkhand Express, Aurangabad Hyderabad Express, Tapovan, Marathwada Express and Visakhapatnam express pass through Aurangabad. Passenger trains however, have not yet started. The restarting of passenger trains will help reduce the number of passenger load on the major railways. The spread of the covid infection is reduced, but passengers are still being tested. From Marathwada, there is a constant rush of workers and citizens going to Pune and Mumbai for employment. Passengers have to book tickets online as still the ticket windows are closed. Tickets for Sachkhand and Devagiri are on waiting.

Highest waiting for Devagiri

Passengers struggle to get reserved tickets for Devagiri Express and Sachkhand Express. The load on these two trains is high. No other trains have started yet. The railway administration says that they will be started gradually. The Devagiri express has the highest number of waiting.

Two trains closed

As the number of passengers is increasing, the railway administration can start the Janshatabdi and Nandigram trains to reduce the load. Passengers are of the opinion that this will avoid crowding in other trains.
