Two-wheeler rider killed in car collision near Jarul Phata

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A two-wheeler rider was killed after being hit by a car near Jarul Phata on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar road on Tuesday evening around 6 pm. The deceased has been identified as Dnyaneshwar Eknath Pathade (58, resident of Savandgaon).

According to information received, Pathade was travelling on his two-wheeler towards Savandgaon when a car collided with his vehicle near Jarul Phata. He sustained serious injuries in the accident. A bystander, Wahed Pathan, rushed the injured to the sub-district hospital in Vaijapur by ambulance, where doctors declared him dead after examination.

Upon receiving information, police reached the spot and conducted a panchnama. A case was registered on Wednesday at around 10 am. Pathade is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son.
