Aurangabad, Oct 15:
The “Vachan Prerna Divas” programme was organised at Marathwada College of Education (MCE) on Thursday to celebrate the birth anniversary of late President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
Incharge Principal Dr Mazhar Farooqui presided over the function.
Senior faculty member Dr Naveed-Us-Sahar, Dr Shaikh Imran Ramzan and Dr. Talat Naseer were present.
Faculty members Dr Shaikh Tahemina Naaz, Shaikh Kashefa Anjum, students Muzammil Ambari and Mohd Saquib made a presentation by reading excerpts of literary pieces.
Principal Dr Mazhar highlighted the importance of reading in a student’s life and motivated the students with various examples.
Khan Waheeda Haroon conducted the proceedings of the programme. All teaching and non-teaching staff members were present in the programme.
