Aurangabad, March 2:

Vice-chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) Dr Pramod Yeole, urged the departments to complete the examinations of postgraduate courses by April end.

He was speaking in a meeting of department heads held at Mahatma Phule Auditorium on Tuesday. Pro-VC Dr Shyam Shirsath and director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Yogesh Patil were seated on the dais.

VC Dr Pramod Yeole said that threat of a Novel coronavirus outbreak has not ended during the last 11th month.

“The education field has to face many problems. The offline and online examinations were held in colleges and university successfully. COVID has affected hope of declaring result and reopening the colleges smoothly. In such a situation, the syllabus should be completed in an online or offline system,” he said.

The VC said that the PG departments are autonomous and have the powers to hold the examinations independently. “The UG examinations will be held from March 16 while PG examinations to be completed in the department by April,” he added.
