Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Emphasising the importance of women’s participation in leadership roles across professions, Branch Chairman CA Amol Godha stated that women today are excelling in every sector and their leadership is playing a vital role in shaping society and the economy.
He further highlighted that platforms like these inspire young professionals and CA students to pursue their ambitions with confidence. As part of women’s week celebrations, a special programme on “Women Leadership in Law, Governance, Media and Healthcare” was organised on Saturday by the city branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
The programme featured distinguished women speakers, including Annapurna Singh (Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Dr. Bindu Ronald ( Vice Chancellor, Maharashtra National Law University), Dr Bhavna Takalkar (renowned Neurosurgeon) and Ruchira Darda (Parenting Coach, Author and Podcaster).
The panellists encouraged young CA students and professionals to continue pursuing their ambitions and not allow their professional qualifications to take a back seat. A health check-up camp and a walkathon for women, promoting fitness and healthy living, were organised.
CA Umesh Sharma (Central Committee Member) also spoke. Around 100 members and students attended the event. CA Renuka Deshpande, CA Rupali Bothara and CA Meenal Naik worked for the event. CA Kedar Pande, CA Rafeeque Pathan, CA Anand Totla and their team supported the programme.
