Aurangabad, March 2:

Krishna Patil Dongaonkar said that even if we need to shed our blood, we will not allow the sale of Gangapur Cooperative Sugar Factory at any cost.

Krishna Dongaonkar, Dilip Patil Bankar from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Bhausahe Patil from Prahar Sanghatna and factory’s labour union leader Vithal Gunj held a press conference here on Monday after an advertisement of auctioning of faculty was published in newspapers.

All the demanded that the board of directors of the factory should be dissolved immediately.

Their other demands included even after case registration nine months ago, the action is not taken against the guilty of committing irregularity of Rs 15.75 crore; the amount should be seized from the accused and hand over to the faculty, the instant probe should be done under different sections of Cooperatives Act and forensic audit of the factory should be conducted.

Dongaonkar claimed that efforts are being made to shield the accused. Gunj said that salary of 600 employees (Rs 18 crore) was pending and they are planning to stage agitation.
