Workshop on Physics held at MGM

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Department of Physics of MGM University organised a one-day workshop on "Software Skills for Experimental Physics" at the Einstein Auditorium recently.

Dr Deepak Gadani, from Gujarat University, served as the resource person for the workshop.

Dean Dr Prapti Deshmukh, Emeritus Professor Dr K M Jadhav, Head of Department Dr Kranti Zhakde, Dr L P Singh, Dr Chaitali More and others were present.

During the workshop, practical demonstrations were presented based on undergraduate and postgraduate experiments such as the Simple Pendulum, Projectile Motion, Damped Harmonic Motion, and Newton's Rings.

Dr Gadani demonstrated to students how to record videos using Tracker Software and how to analyse them for accurate measurements. Dr Harshada Patil conducted the proceedings of the programme.

Sakshi Deode, Vandana Thakur, Krishna Khillare, Devyani Jain and Chanchal Shinde contributed to the successful organisation of the event.
