YBCCP wins APTI-MS award
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Y B Chavan College of Pharmacy (YBCCP), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, has been honoured with the APTI-MS Dr V R Patil Best Pharmacy Institute Award-2026 at the MAHA-APTICON-2026 Conference organised by the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Maharashtra state branch. The conference was held on March 7 in Satara.
The institute received a trophy, a citation and a cheque for Rs 5,000 from APTI-MS for its contribution to pharmaceutical education. Established in 1989 by Dr Rafiq Zakaria, the college offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph D programmes in pharmacy. The college was recently granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission. It has also consistently ranked among the top 100 institutions in the National Institutional Ranking Framework list. The institute is the first from the Marathwada region to receive this award. Maulana Azad Educational Trust chairman Farhat Jamal, along with the management, has congratulated principal Dr M H Dehghan and Team YBCCP on their achievement.
