Aurangabad, March 10:

Pundliknagar police booked a youth on suspicion of stealing Rs 1 lakh at Vijaynagar in the Pundliknagar area on March 5.

The suspect has been identified as Lahu Jadhav (Vijaynagar). The suspect Lahu and the complainant woman live in the same colony. She had saved Rs 1 lakh for the treatment of her ailing son. The suspects used to visit her house occasionally. The money was stolen from the cupboard between 1 and 1.30 am on March 5. The woman suspected that Lahu had stolen the money. Accordingly, the police have started the investigation.
