Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos revealed that Amazon is all set to invest $1 Bn in India to support small and medium sized businesses. The announcement was made during the Amazon Sambhav event, which is being held at the JLN Stadium, New Delhi. Bezos, during his interaction with Amazon India Head Amit Agarwal told that the investment will digitise Indian SMBs and will help them to export goods valuing over $10 bn worldwide by 2025. "The 21st century is going to be India's century he added. Jeff who is in India for a two-day flagship event is expected to meet Prime Minister Modi and other government officials to ease out regulatory challenges in the country.
On Tuesday, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos visited the Mahatma Gandhi memorial in Delhi as he paid his respects to the Father of the Nation.
