India's popular biscuit brand Parle-G has accumlated their best sales figures in 8 decades amid the COVID-19 lockdown across the country. Although the company is yet to disclose the figures but as per reports in the media the firm has had an outstanding previous three months of their business history. The stocks went up higher after people stacked up on easy and simple essential food items. 

Several state governments NGOs bought Parle-G in great quantity thanks, to the affordable rates. The company restarted its production from March 25 onwards after it announced that they are shutting operations. At present, he company has 130 factories all over India with 120 producing units. The recent financial success of the iconic biscuit brand triggered celebration among citizens as many shared their childhood memories with the biscuit with memes.
