New Delhi [India], September 27 : On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Ministry of Tourism, launched the Incredible India Content Hub as part of the revamped Incredible India digital portal.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, this digital repository is set to transform the way global stakeholders access and promote Indian tourism.

Featuring a rich collection of over 5,000 high-quality images, films, brochures, and newsletters, the Content Hub is designed for use by a diverse audience, including tour operators, journalists, students, researchers, filmmakers, influencers, government officials, and content creators.

The launch aligns with India's vision of leveraging digital platforms to showcase its vast and diverse cultural heritage. The Incredible India Content Hub aims to streamline access to tourism resources, making it easier for travel trade professionals, media, and other stakeholders worldwide to find all necessary materials in one place.

The Content Hub, integrated into the new Incredible India digital portal, aims to simplify access for global travel professionals, including media, tour operators, and travel agents, by providing all necessary resources about Incredible India in one place. This allows them to enhance their marketing and promotional efforts.

Currently, the Hub hosts approximately 5,000 assets, developed through a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Tourism, the Archaeological Survey of India, the Ministry of Culture, and others.

The Incredible India Digital Portal is designed as a comprehensive, tourist-friendly platform to improve the travel experience for visitors to India. It offers vital information and services at every stage of a traveller's journey, from discovery and planning to booking and return.

The revamped portal provides extensive information on destinations, attractions, crafts, festivals, itineraries, and more, using multimedia such as videos, images, and maps.

The "Book Your Travel" feature allows users to book flights, hotels, cabs, buses, and monuments, making travel more accessible.

An AI-powered chatbot serves as a virtual assistant to answer questions and provide real-time information. Other features include weather updates, details on tour operators, currency conversion, airport information, visa guidance, and more.

The Ministry of Tourism plans to further enhance the portal by adding new features, incorporating more content through crowdsourcing, and collaborating with various organizations to ensure the portal remains a dynamic and continuous source of inspiration for anyone exploring Incredible India.
