IPL 2026: Krunal Pandya revealed a massive bruise on his body following Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s dramatic win over Mumbai Indians in Match 54 of Indian Premier League 2026. The RCB all-rounder played a crucial unbeaten knock of 73 off 46 balls during Bengaluru’s tense two-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
Promoted to No. 5 after the dismissal of captain Rajat Patidar in the final over of the powerplay, Krunal anchored the chase under difficult circumstances as RCB chased down a target of 167 on the final ball.
During the innings, Krunal battled severe cramps and was visibly struggling while running between the wickets. However, the left-hander continued batting despite the discomfort and guided RCB over the line.
After the match, Krunal shared a picture on Instagram showing a large bruise across his stomach and wrote: “Some scars are proof that it was worth fighting for.”
The victory helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru move to the top of the IPL 2026 points table, while Mumbai Indians were eliminated from the playoff race.
