While the dramatic contest boosted RCB’s playoff hopes, the Orange Cap standings remained unchanged after the match. Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad continued to lead the batting charts with 494 runs in 11 matches.

SRH opener Abhishek Sharma remained second with 475 runs, while KL Rahul held the third spot with 468 runs for Delhi Capitals.

Shubman Gill of Gujarat Titans occupied fourth place with 462 runs, while Vaibhav Sooryavanshi completed the top five with 440 runs for Rajasthan Royals.

Meanwhile, the Purple Cap race witnessed a major change after veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar produced a match-winning spell for RCB against MI.

Bhuvneshwar picked up 4/23 in four overs, dismissing Ryan Rickelton, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma. The performance helped him jump to the top of the wicket-taking charts with 21 wickets in 11 matches.

Anshul Kamboj of Chennai Super Kings slipped to second place with 19 wickets, while GT pacer Kagiso Rabada remained third with 18 scalps.

Prince Yadav of Lucknow Super Giants and Eshan Malinga of SRH rounded off the top five with 16 wickets each.
