IPL 2026, PBKS vs MI Today Match: Mumbai Indians are without Suryakumar Yadav for Match 58 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Thursday, May 14, 2026. MI stand-in skipper Jasprit Bumrah confirmed at the toss that Suryakumar was unavailable due to personal reasons.

“Surya is not here for personal reasons,” Bumrah said at the toss.

Suryakumar had been leading Mumbai Indians in the absence of regular captain Hardik Pandya, who has also been sidelined recently because of a back spasm.

The right-handed batter has struggled for consistency in IPL 2026. He has scored 195 runs in 11 innings at an average of 17.72 during a disappointing campaign for Mumbai Indians.

MI have already been eliminated from the playoff race after a disappointing campaign in which they managed only three wins from 11 matches. Despite being out of contention, the five-time champions will aim to finish the season on positive note.

Toss Result

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first against Punjab Kings in Dharamsala.
