The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, declared the AP POLYCET 2026 results on Tuesday, May 5. Candidates who appeared for the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test can now check and download their rank cards from the official website.

According to official data, a total of 1,77,581 students registered for the examination, while 1,63,008 candidates appeared for the test held on April 25, 2026. Of these, 1,48,950 candidates qualified, taking the overall pass percentage to 91.37 per cent.

Girls Outperform Boys

Girls recorded a higher pass percentage than boys once again. The pass percentage among female candidates stood at 93.57 per cent, reflecting strong participation and performance in technical education courses across the state.

Nara Lokesh Congratulates Students

Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh congratulated the successful candidates through a post on the social media platform X. This year, a record 1,77,581 candidates registered and 1,63,008 appeared for the examination held on 25.04.2026 — the highest participation ever. Of these, 1,48,950 have qualified, with an overall pass percentage of 91.37%.

“Heartfelt congratulations to all successful candidates! To those who missed out this time — stay determined, keep striving, and success will follow,” he wrote.

How to Download AP POLYCET 2026 Rank Card

Candidates can follow these steps to download their rank card:

1. Visit the official website — polycetap.nic.in

2. Click on the AP POLYCET Rank Card link on the homepage

3. Enter the required credentials, including the hall ticket number

4. The result and rank card will appear on the screen

5. Download and print the rank card for future reference

About AP POLYCET

The AP POLYCET examination is conducted for admission to diploma courses in engineering, non-engineering and technology offered by government, aided and private polytechnic colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

To be eligible for the examination, candidates must have passed the SSC examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Secondary Education, or an equivalent recognised examination, with at least 35 per cent aggregate marks and Mathematics as one of the subjects.
