What did Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam say?

Reacting to the controversy, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said, "There is widespread hatred towards Pakistan in India. When a Pakistani film is released, Indian audiences do not like to watch it. Even if some people watch it eagerly, Pakistani artists have never been able to achieve widespread success in India." Sanjay further said, "If the central government has any policy on this, then it should be implemented. The government should decide whether Pakistani films should be released in India or their artists should be allowed to work here." Let us tell you that Abir Gulaal is directed by Aarti S. Bagri. The film stars Fawad Khan along with Vaani Kapoor.
