Veteran actor Charu Haasan the eldest brother of Kamal Haasan has received his vaccination for COVID-19. A video has surfaced online, where the veteran actor is seen getting a jab. On the work front, after a long hiatus Charu Haasan returned to the silver screen by featuring in the film Dha Dha 87 directed and produced by Vijay Shri G. The film had Charu Haasan playing the lead role opposite Saroja the grandmother of Keerthy Suresh. Last year, it was reported that Charu Haasan was roped in to play the lead role in yet another film directed by Vijay Shri G. 

Photos of Charu Haasan in the avatar of a politician made the rounds on social media last year. Charu Haasan is the eldest brother of Kamal Haasan has won the National Award for Best Actor for the Kannada film Tabarana Kathe released in the year 1987. He has acted in character roles with all the top stars including Rajini, Kamal, Vijay and Ajith. On the other hand, Kamal Haasan will be next seen in Indian 2 directed by Shankar, which has Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh as the leading ladies.
