Tom Hanks and wife Rita have been discharged  from hospital where he was in isolation since testing positive for the coronavirus last week. Hanks had shared updates of his recovery with fans on his Instagram page, telling them they were taking a 'one-day-at-a-time approach'.  In a lengthy post the 63-year-old actor revealed that he and his wife were down with fever during their Australia stay, where is set to shoot for his next film based on the life of Elvis Presley. 

His post was soon flooded with concerned celebrities commenting ‘get well soon’ and wishing the couple a speedy recovery.The actor tweeted a photo on Sunday showing a stuffed kangaroo and koala watching over his vegemite-covered toast."Thanks to the Helpers," Hanks tweeted. "Let's take care of ourselves and each other." Hanks was one of the first big Hollywood celebrities to have been infected with the novel coronavirus. Some of the other notable names to have contracted coronavirus include , Olga Kurylenko and recent one being actor Idris Elba.
